The best software solutions in Switzerland were celebrated at the Zurich Convention Centre on 19 November 2024. Particularly radiant: the start-up Apriko was a double winner with a gold medal in the Business Solutions category and a silver medal in the Cloud Native Solutions category. Apriko is setting new standards when it comes to digitalising recruitment and temporary staffing.
There were 25 nominated projects, 4 categories and a panel of 17 judges – these were the figures for the Best of Swiss Software (BOSS) 2024. The BOSS Award Night was held last night at the Zurich Convention Center. Of the projects submitted, only 25 were nominated and shortlisted for the four categories of Business Solutions, Cloud Native Solutions, Core Business Integration and Data & AI Solutions.
Only those who truly impressed the judges were presented with an award in one of the four categories. In all, 17 discerning experts and specialists in the sector sat on the committees. Swiss companies – from Abraxas to Elca, Isolutions and Zühlke – were also represented on the panel of judges, as were hyperscalers AWS, Google and Microsoft. In a two-stage process, the University of Bern and the judges examined all the submitted projects in terms of their quality and power of innovation. There was one gold, one silver and one bronze medal to be won for each category.
Apriko is delighted! The twelve employees of the Apriko start-up are delighted to take home two medals: gold in the Business Solutions category and silver in the Cloud Native Solutions category.

It stands out with its user-friendly design and wide range of functions,” commented chair of the panel, Michael Quade, as he explained the panel’s decision and highlighted the platform’s pioneering role for the sector.
